Town Cancels Meetings Due to Impending Snow

Riverhead, NY – Riverhead Town Supervisor Sean M. Walter has announced that all town meetings scheduled for this evening have been cancelled as of 4:30 p.m. due to the impending snow storm.


The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning making for hazardous travel.  This warning is in effect until 7 p.m. this evening.

 

The Supervisor urges all residents to refrain from driving during the storm and reminds them to park off the street to allow crews to remove snow and ice in an efficient manner.
