MISSION STATEMENT
It is the purpose of the Landmarks Preservation Commission to conserve, protect and preserve places, sites, structures and buildings of special historic significance or, by reason of famous events, the antiquity or uniqueness of architectural construction and design which are of particular significance to the heritage of the Town of Riverhead.
