- Aid the Town with analysis materials to extend “Community” designation area within the NYS DEC regulated Wild, Scenic and Recreational Rivers Area – providing additional uses that will still protect the Peconic River but that will incentivize redevelopment of previously developed properties.
- Coordinate potential roadway modifications/ improvements on NYS Route 25 with New York State Department of Transportation to alleviate traffic congestion issues in the downtown, such as signal timing sensors, intersection realignment, and restriping.
- Produce an inventory of historic structures in the locally designated area along 2nd Street and assist the Local Landmarks Commission with an application for a new residential district on the National Register of Historic Places.
Thank you for your continued interest in and support for the Revitalization of Historic Downtown Riverhead. |
