Senior Citizen Advisory Council
In 2014, the Senior Citizen Advisory Council was re-established to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens in the Town of Riverhead. The council assists the Town in identifying the needs of its Senior Citizen community and advises the Town Board of the council’s recommendations as to the direction the Town can take in coordinating services and programs benefiting our aging population as well as providing them with valuable resources.
It is the Town of Riverhead Senior Citizen Advisory Council’s mission to:
Assess and address the evolving needs of our dynamic seniors.
Periodically review the needs and interests of Seniors age 60 and over by utilizing feedback from the community for future direction.
Act as Liaison between the Senior community and the Town Board.
Provide up to date resources to our Seniors.
